Santa Claus Paddle - Dec 23

For the past several years KCC members and the halau have paddled canoes carrying Santa Claus from the club to Kamaole Beach II to give out candy and sing Christmas carols. This year we will do it on Monday, December 23 with the halau members taking Santa on a double hull to serve as his sleigh.

All members are invited to paddle and join in.  We will meet on Dec 23 at the club at 7:00am with departure at 7:30am.  Wear your Santa cap, antlers or other festive gear.  Paddling together we will form up on both sides of Santa's "sleigh" as we approach Hale Pau Hana at Kamaole Beach II. When the signal is given, all canoes will proceed forward together and come in straight. Once on the beach, around 8:30am, we'll sing carols and give out candy. Afterwards we'll paddle the canoes back to the club arriving around 11:00am.

If you interested in joining the Santa Clause paddle, please contact berney@kiheicanoeclub.com.

A list will be compiled to make sure we have enough ho`okele so we can take single hull canoes to escort Santa.  So don your Santa gear, warm up those vocal chords and come join the fun.
